The Organization of the Jews in Bulgaria “Shalom” is a non-profit association that is structured and operates on the basis of its statute. The governing body of the organization is the Consistory, which consists of 33 representatives elected for a term of four years.

The Consistory is headed by a Chairperson, who also serves as Chair of the Executive Bureau of the organization. The Chairperson has representative functions and oversees the overall activities of the organization through an Executive Director.

The supreme body of the organization is the General Assembly – the Conference, while the financial aspects of the organization’s activities are supervised by an Audit Committee.

The Chairperson of the Organization of the Jews in Bulgaria “Shalom” from March 2025 is Dr. Alina Levi.
